FACULTY OF EDUCATION

Department of Religious Education:

The Department exists to train men and women for educational ministries both in the church and secular institutions.

Objectives of the Department are to:

  1. Involve students in supervised field experiences in the church and schools.
  2. Train students to be able to apply the principles of Christian education in response to the needs of the congregation in the African church
  3. Provide competency-based experiences needed for Religious education.
  4. Provide Christian education studies for persons who have given evidence of
      5. God’s call to serve through specialized ministry in becoming teachers of Christian Religious Knowledge in Nigeria public and private schools
  5. Introduce students to research methodology
